I'm thinking about upgrading my 13-inch MacBook Pro to the 15inch. Whats the difference between the two video cards other than the 4gb of ram?

There are no benchmarks that I am aware of yet, however they likely aren't that different from the previous cards, and the 560 is quite significantly more performant than the 555.

I believe the 555X should have 768 cores and the 560X 1024 cores. I didn’t see the official specs anywere yet so don’t quote me on that... Anyway, it should be around 25% more performance. Not a super big difference imo...

edit: oh, and both the 555X and 560X have 4GB now!

560X is more less identical to 560 and 460, still uses same Polaris architecture. The only difference 560X is slightly overclocked 1090 - 1292 (Boost) MHz to 1172 - 1275 (Boost) MHz

Does that mean everything the same, mbp with 560x runs hotter than 550x and has shorter battery life? By how minutes?
