"Lady calls Leo Laporte's Tech Guy Show claiming her WI-FI access has "disappeared", come to find out that she doesn't even have a router! She's been stealing someones wi-fi for the past year! She even bought a wi-fi extender hoping to get it back."

But I do have friends that have open access points - since they feel the net should be free... In the end they set up a dedicated computer for that access point...

For my condo community it is a moot point since HS internet is part of our condo fee now...

Will admit that I browsed the web when I first got here... since they were looking at FIOS - and did not want to pay extra fees.... I used open access points.. But in the end they went with Comcast - and I have my net locked down I hope
