They called me on Friday asking if I still wanted information about the iPhone and told me they were getting it in next week. It may vary for different areas but it seems that they're getting stock slowly but surely. I already had it so I just said thanks.

in my area (Atlanta suburbs) two of my friends were denied their iPhones on the release day (3rd and 4th on the list at our local Radioshack), but the next day were called in to get them, even though they were told it would take 2 weeks.

depends on where you live / how soon you ordered / etc..
 
That's the thing. They said they don't know when they can order. I assumed they could the 29th.

They never know when they're going to get things stuff just pops up for the most part. The best bet is to hop on a list and you never know with stores getting more next week you might get a call about coming in to activate your new toy :D.
 
Radio Shack receives very limited quantities, same as Walmart. Would be better to go to Apple>AT&T>Best Buy.
