Radioshack and upgrading as authroized user

So being an authroized user on the account radioshack won't let me upgrade to the iPhone 4 unless the account holder is present. I already put down my deposit. I have no clue if the account holder will be able to make it down to radioshack on the 24th. Does anyone know if I can just tell them the last 4 numbers to the account holders social or what?

your name will show on the account if you re an authorized user. Just go in give them your number and the last 4 digits. Show them ID

Thats what I was planning on doing but when I called the store to ask he just said call the district manager and hash it out with her so we will see what she says first. Also if I made the deposit is it possible to withdraw it and maybe I can give them the old I'll take my buissness elsewhere.
