Ragnarok for my G5? :(

After several wonderful years, I fear my poor PowerMac G5 is reaching the end of its life. It's now going into kernal panics within a few minutes of booting if not outright freezing.

I'm going to open things up to see if Resurrection Sunday is going to happen with my poor G5. Keep a small shred of hope for me, because I don't know if I'm ready to go for salvaging things at this point (especially with the G4's and G3's of mine still chugging along wonderfully).

Come on, G5 resurrection!

thermal npaste on the cpu's and get the hardware Test cd to recalibrate the fans afterwards. Will also tell you if one of the cpu's is failing . The dual 2.0 units are notorius for a cpu going out.
