Currently Running MacPro with 2 x 3GHz Dual Core Xeon and OSX 10.4.11

Have 3 500gb drives in Raid 0 Config

Disk Utility sees all the drives and shows them online.

They do not however appear on the desktop or in a finder window to be able to access. I alspo have a single 240gb for my boot drive which is running without issue.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be most appreciated. I will gladly post any additional info you might need about the system.

Drives have worked without issue in the past, as recently as 2 weeks ago. System is in a road case for travel so may be possible something bumped loose but I did check everything was seated correctly.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Respectfully.

Lewis

I did and it is selected.

I can see my boot drive on the desktop

Type 'diskutil listraid' (no quotes) in the terminal and paste the output here, it'll help to see what's going on.

Well that looks fine. I second the suggestion to do Verify Disk in disk utility.

Also type 'mount' in the terminal, and see if the drive is mounted but not being displayed for some reason.

Many thanks. Went through and tried everything and had to call no joy. Fortunately most of the data was backed up so I jusr restriped. All is groovy. Thanks to all for the suggestions. This may remain one of those odd mysteries in life, like do penguins have knees?
