so I ordered the Mercury elite pro Quad raid from OWC without the software (there softwares expensive and ive heard that the trial give you pesky popups to update)

I set this up on my 2018 Mini (BigSir) using DiskUtility using two bays 3 and 4 (my two daughters names)
as Raid "1"
ill get double of what im saving
i like this later I can pull the drives and mail them out
but WAIT--theres MORE
if I shut down my 2018 Mini (BigSir)
unplug the OWC quad
startup my 2012 Mini (Mojave) with the OWC plugged in
can i set it up the same as my 2018? Bay 3and 4? to work the same ?
I think im HOT-Swapping Mini's not HDD's
