Hey guys, i just bought a Rocstor 4TB Arcticroc 4T 4-Bay Tower RAID System (Quad Interface) from apple. i bought this particular system because the apple website stated that it was compatible with time machine. in the description, it described the RAID features, but then it also said that RAID was a special feature. i was wondering if this meant if i could configure the raid, i.e. RAID 1, and have time machine do the rest in terms of back up? or would it be able to use either raid or as jbod. and if so, what would be compatible. i dropped 500 bucks on this so some advice would be much appreciated.
