Afternoon all

i currently have all my data on 2 WD 2TB firewire 800 drives mirrored. i have now nearly filled this so need more space. My first thought was to get a WD 4TB Thunderbolt duo then set it up in a RAID 10 with the 2 old drives giving me 4TB usable. But i think i will have to wipe all drives before creating the array? so i would have the issue of putting 2TB somewhere while setting it up :( so all in all a bit of a pain to set up.

I know my best solution would be to get the 8TB Thunderbolt duo and just mirror it but that is a expensive solution :( anyone got any other idea's? its a Mid 2011 iMac so you know what ports i got.

Cheers
