just a small question ,

what is, in theory, the fastest raid type, when I use two harddrives.

raid 0 but it's risky because if one drive fails, you lose the data
 
do i increase the level of risk of a harddrive failure when I use raid 0? because I here everybody talking about that risk. but I have never had a harddrive crash.

edit: yeah i do know that data can't be restored if one of the 2 crashes, but does it increase the chance of crashing itself?
