Long story short,

two external LaCie triple interface RAID units, one failed, the data is safe but enclosure gone, I have another one which serves as a backup but since I am upgrading to a new desktop I don't want to bother with adapters to reach the FW800 interface, I would like an up to date and reliable twin disk case (I know, RAID1 not safe bla bla bla but I already have the 2 x 4TB WD Red disks) with either a USB-C or Thunderbolt interface, it doesn't have to be blazing fast as it only stores the photo archive while the catalogue (Adobe LR) stays on the internal storage and it all gets back upped on the functional LaCie case, anything you know available also in the EU you would suggest?

Grazie

I've had good experience with the Icy Box models, which at least in Finland are pretty easy to find (online). Just ordered another IB-RD3621U3, which is also available with USB-C as IB-RD3621-C31.

Though after having some doubts about MacOS and heading towards using multiple OS's I decided to move most file storage to a NAS.
