Hi.
I just picked up Railroad Tycoon 3, and for the most part, I like it. But I'm having a problem with the electric trains. Often when I try to set up an electric train route, I'm told that there's not a continuous path of electrified track between my two destinations. This, in spite of the fact that I've electrified ALL my track. If I set up a steam or diesel train between the same two destinations, it goes just fine.
I've tried ripping up track and reinstalling it, ripping up stations and rebuilding them, but I just can't get it to work consistently. Does anyone know a solution to this?
(As a second, but minor problem, I was playing one scenario where I was told that Tool and Die factories would no longer accept iron. Only steel. But there were no steel factories on the map, no steel on the map, no ports accepting steel, and no option for me to build a steel mill. It went on like this indefinitely. It was as if I had walked into K-Mart to buy something, and was told "We only accept credit crystals.")
Anyway, thanks for any help.
