my new iPad three has rainbowish line scratches on screen though I have been using it with screen protector from the first day. I do not have long nail and I keep it like its my new born baby.

is it scratch on the protector so a screen protector removal fixes it . or the real screen is damaged ?

Sorry I read your post the wrong way.

Yeah it sounds like your screen protector has scratches on it. Lift the screen protector and see if the scratches are on the film itself.

Screen shields cause rainbow effects .....

they appear as straight line and even if do touch the screen Very gently i do get them. probably screen protector failure.

if I lift it I have to install a new one, I will keep using like this until it gets very dirty and I will get a new one to replace
