Is there only one slot for RAM in the new retina Macbook?

I ask because Apple doesn't really list the configurations. If anyone could let me know I would greatly appreciate it!

I am trying to determine whether I should upgrade my RAM through Apple or upgrade it on my own. If there are two slots then it would make sense for me to do it myself.

There are no slots, as the RAM is soldered in. You can't upgrade it with 3rd party RAM. You have to order it with the RAM you want.
