Hi All,

As the title suggests I'm wanting to upgrade my RAM and hard drive for my mac pro (would be the latest version). Just after some recommendations for best places to shop from for us UK mac people?

Two places I know about is dabs.com and macupgrades.co.uk.

I'm after 2 x 2GB of RAM and an internal 1TB hard drive, and any particular products would be appreciated.

Many thanks,

Keith

I've bought ram from crucial before quite cheap and good customer service. They are a little cheeky in regards to dynamic pricing (or the were a year ago when I last bought from them).

Orcalogic also have good customer service.

Both have a memory finder feature to help locate the ram you need.

In regards to the harddrive check out Span edit: I meant Scan as I have used them before but span also seem to do stuff like that as well.

Can also check out this (out dated) thread which has a list of different sellers in the UK (ignore the prices).

I just installed an extra Gig of ram for my iMac today, Got it from crucial (advertised alot on macrumors) very good prices, lot cheaper than apple and good customer service, quick shipping, very good all round.
