I have read the rules and searched the site. I don't think I am violating anything?
This is the best and only site I am a member of as far as Computer info. I have an old PC running Win 7.
I use it only to run old wintell games. I am also old so it makes sense.
I want to up grade the memory from 2 to 4 gig. The processor is an Athlon 2850e with a NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE Integrated chip, if any of this matters?
This is what I want to replace, from an eMachines EL1333G-01W. On the ram stick it states this;
1GB 1Rx8PC2-6400U-666-12-ZZ
(It is a 240 pin size stick)
Crucial states this as an upgrade; (for $60.00)
(2GBx2) DDR2 PC2-5300 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.8V 256Meg x 64
I am considering 2 of these on eBay;
Kingston 2GB(2GBx1) PC2-6400 DDR2-800MHz non-ECC Unbuffered CL6 240-Pin (for about $20.00)
Will the eBay stick work? With 4 gig instead of 2 will that add some pop to the integrated Vram? Thanks and sorry for bringing up disgusting PC stuff.:eek:

I think the memory that you linked to is the correct specs for your eMachines PC. So, you should expect it to work.

It works!

US$24.00 including shipping! From 2 to 4 gig in my tired *ss old PC. I am now rocking HOMM3 :D
Thanks.
