Was looking at an older, used Macbook which uses PC5300 DDR2 667MHz 200 Pin ram. It only has 1gb ram, but I have some ram from my older iMac which is PC6400 DDR2 800MHz 200 Pin. Could I put this ram in the Macbook? I realize at best it would run 667MHz but all Im concerned about is will it work in there. Thanks.

The macbook has two slots, as long as there is one that is a PC2-5300 then the PC2-6400 will work. If both are PC2-6400, it will not.

If your macbook is early 2008 it can use as much as 6GB. Check OWC.
