Just purchased so hopefully it will be OK.
May stick the RAM from my MacBook into the MacMini and stick this HyperX RAM in my MacBook, since I do more with this system.

Now off to buy my SSD for the MacMini, before buying the MacMini itself!

Hi,

And did you have occasion to test if it works? My only concern is if those Kingston's will fit into mac mini.

Decided to go with Crucial instead. They are around the same price and are guaranteed compatible etc. Never had issues with Crucial in the past so went with them this time round again.
The system should arrive in the next few days and will be upgraded as soon as its out of the box ;)

SHOULD be OK.

They are DDR3, and Kingston is a good/reliable brand.

HOWEVER: When you get it you should run the Apple Hardware Test on it.

Press the power button to turn on your computer.

Press and hold the D key before the gray startup screen appears. I

It takes a minute or so for Apple Hardware Test to start up and inspect your hardware configuration.

If Apple Hardware Test cannot be found on the hard drive, an Internet-based version starts up instead. An Internet-enabled connection via Ethernet or Wi-Fi is required to use this feature.
