I just bought a new RevB iMac G5 about a month ago now and put two Crucial 1GB sticks in there. So I have a 512 stick left over. A friend of mine has a 17" RevA iMac G5 that he bought from Apple in late November last year, but he hasn't added any RAM to it. Can I give/sell him the 512 stick that I'm not using to put in his computer?

Yes, they use the same type of RAM (PC3200, 400 MHz DDR RAM) so it will work just fine. So when you add that 512MB to your friends iMac with the stock 256MB you should have 768MB total. That should suit his needs just fine.
