Hi all,

I'm just wondering, how many people here have put aftermarket RAM heatsinks on their OEM or non-OEM RAM modules ?
I'm asking because I have OWC RAM sticks and they run fairly warm. They run between 33 - 52 C. Now that the weather is warming up here and ambient temp has risen, the RAM tend to run hotter too. With summer coming up, the temps are likely to go highter on hot days. They'll likely hit 60 occasionally. Does these temps seem pretty normal and do people think it's necessary to add passive heatsinks on them to prolong their life ?

Thanks.
