RAM/iOS 9 question...

So I loved my Air 2's RAM and processor, but I took hundreds of notes with thousands of words in just one note. For the past 6 months when I would type there is a big lag. I updated to iOS 9 and it seems a better, but I haven't really gone through to test it out on my text heavy notes... I am curious if lack or RAM or software could have caused the lag. Thanks for any info and help.
Honestly I think I really want the iPad Pro just for the processor speed bump and RAM.
Would the Pro be overkill, or would the Make sure no lag occurs again?

I suggest restoring your iPad. Perhaps notes isn't optimized for that much data? Maybe a word processor like Microsoft word would help you, or even Apple pages. Good luck!
