RAM Issue (MBP 13" TB 8G Ram)

Hey, I'm wondering if anyone has had issues with there RAM being maxed out? I attempted downloading video courses that had around 30 minutes per lecture (3/4 Gig or so each). I tried to download multiple ones at a time but my computer continued to pop up the "Out of System Memory" Warning and I really had issues getting the courses downloaded.
Later I was uploading some of these lectures to Dropbox one at a time and my computer would STILL run out of memory!! What's the issue?

That's very unusual. Try to restart your Mac with the reopen windows when logging back in option disabled/unticked.

Also if you're using Chrome to download the videos, try to use Safari instead, or vice versa. Make sure you're on the latest OS too — you can verify this by clicking the Updates tab in the App Store.
