Hey all,
So today I bought 2 (PC5300 DDR2 2GB) sticks of RAM for my early 2008 Macbook Pro. When I installed them into my computer, and when I went to go power on my computer the fans whirred, the disk drive spun, and I got a black screen. Thinking I installed them incorrectly, I re-situated each stick, and tried it again. Same problem. So I took one of the new 2gb sticks out and put in one of the 1GB sticks that my computer came with, and it worked. I switched out the 2 gb sticks, and tried the other stick, and it worked. So I was wondering if you guys had any ideas why I cannot run 4GB of ram on my computer.
Thanks in advance,
Joe
