Hello,

Is it possible to find out the RAM manufacturer on a Macbook (it's a 3rd party module) by the part number? I've been searching for the past half hour, didn't found anything relevant..
Here are the full RAM specs:

BANK 0/DIMM0:

Size: 2 GB
Type: DDR2 SDRAM
Speed: 667 MHz
Status: OK
Manufacturer: 0x7F98000000000000
Part Number: 0x4B494E4753544F4E20202020202020202020
Serial Number: 0x9D3CB8AE

BANK 1/DIMM1:

Size: 2 GB
Type: DDR2 SDRAM
Speed: 667 MHz
Status: OK
Manufacturer: 0x7F98000000000000
Part Number: 0x4B494E4753544F4E20202020202020202020
Serial Number: 0x9F3CB4AE

Appreciate any help, thanks!

This is just based on a few quick Google searches, but it looks like 7F98000000000000 is Kingston. Is it stock or something you added? If you want to confirm, you could also pop it open and get the manufacturer off the sticks in it; getting at the RAM in MacBooks is very easy.
