It seems to me some people mix Ram of different speeds, brands, unpaired etc. with success. If you install it and it works how would you measure?
 
Dual-channel works best when the two sticks are identical. That's not to say it won't work if they aren't but you'll have a better chance of reliability and likely better performance if they are.

If you install memory rated for different speeds, the standard is for the system to clock the memory at the fastest speed supported by the slowest module.
