So I pre-ordered the Macbook pro 15" i9 with 1tb 16gb of ram.
I am now questioning whether 16gb is too little considering I do some gaming (such as fortnite, garrysmod, and counterstrike source).
My budget is $3,500 (after tax) and adding the ram would be an extra $300...
I know that I can add storage with an external drive, but not ram. Though, $350 for only 16gb more is a little ridiculous to me. I want the I9 processor because it seems it will be more future proof, but is 16gb too low?
I may keep this laptop for a year or 2 and sell it for a newer one, so will the 16gb lower my resale a lot, or is it not worth it?
Also changing my configuration for my custom macbook pro will set me back till picking it up on the 28th as oppose to the 23rd of which my macbook pro is estimated to arrive to my house.
Did I make a good choice or should I do 500gb and 32gb of ram? Thanks!
