RAM Placement, is it important?

Hey guys

I've got a 2006 MacPro with 4GB RAM and am about to get some more from OWC.

My question is, does it matter where/what order you put the RAM in the memory slots? I currently have 4x1GB Modules in slot A/DIMM 1, A/DIMM 2 , B/DIMM 1 and B/DIMM 2. I want another 4GBs so is it ok to get 2x2GB Modules? Or should i get 4x 1GB modules? and can i put them in any memory slot?

Get the 2GB modules and put them in A/DIMM 1 and A/DIMM 2 and the 1GB modules all on riser B.

You put the 1GB all on Riser B so each riser has 4GB.
