how long do you think it will be until RAM drops in price, i mean, the prices right now are crazy... so expensive... i'm going to wait it out until the prices is reduced...

I heard that prices will go down by Christmas. I'm not sure by how much, though, as I expect demand will remain high until well after the consumer version of Vista ships.

yah it seems as though everybody is preping up for the memory hungry vista... i'm sure leopard is as memory hungry too... i can wait... let's hope the prices go down significantly
Be sure to shop around. For example, I was looking for a 1gb stick of ram for a pc last week, and on crucial.com, the ram cost $155, but newegg.com had the same stick of crucial ram for $105, a $50 difference for the same stick of ram.
