How bad is this? I don't really understand the significance of these facts:

painfully slowly. i get the spinning beachball all the time. i thought that the page-out data is very high here. am i right? is it too high?
 
to be honest with you, i am interested in what is good or bad, since i really dont have a clue. Here is mine (via i-stat)..BTW, i am ripping a cd in itunes.

You have 512MB of memory, thats hardly anything. Really, I consider 1GB RAM to be painful, I never own a Mac with less than 4GB. Plus, the more widgets and what not you have running, the more it taxes your system.
