Hi folks

I'm spending holidays in Canada, so I can find RAM cheaper here.

Will the upcoming penryn MB or MBP use the exact RAM that the current models? I want to buy 4GB for a new laptop I will buy in January (Waiting for the possible update)

Thanks

Not possible to say with any certainty what the RAM specs will be on an unannounced product...

The latest Intel chipsets support either DDR3 or DDR2, it's up to the motherboard maker to choose which to implement. Since DDR3 is still so expensive, Apple will probably go with DDR2-800 or DDR2-1066

But... Who knows?
