Hi,

Will more RAM increase the speed when having several windows open in the same program, or does RAM only increase the speed when running more programs? (does my question make sense?)

Let me try to rephrase. If I'm web browsing and instead of using tabs I use windows, will the pages load faster or will I be able to download stuff faster, if I have more RAM or is this kind of speed determined by the speed of the hard drive?

Thanks,

That's same thing.

That would depend on the speed of your internet connection. You'll only run into page outs when you run out of RAM to store pages in cache.

thanks again. that's the second time you've helped me out today:)
