1. How much ram does the mid 2010 13 inch macbook pro support
2. If 8 gigs, will this work?

It will take up to 8GB of RAM right now. I have never used that RAM, nor ever heard of it actually. There are numerous threads already created that discuss this topic in depth.

using parallels i have about 30 MB left and the system does start to get laggy. so im looking forward to getting 8 gigs
