As the above posters said...buy from Newegg. Don't pay 10x more (literally) to buy from Apple. It's the same stuff.

Yeah.. I can't believe they're charging so much for it. Whoever buys it from Apple really doesn't care about budgeting their money. Or maybe they have too much!

I got mine from newegg for $40 with a free USB data drive. I recommend shopping all stores and sleeping on that thought before purchasing anything.

or the time they would spend installing the RAM is worth more than what apple charges for the upgrade, not to mention there's something to be said about having apple cover everything in your machine.

I get all the tools necessary and I still come out with $80-90 profit for 5-10 minute fix.

It is what it is, at least there are people on here who do their research and know better.

Do you think Apple's stock would go down if they lowered the standard price of everything? Or would they make even more sales?
