I've ordered 4GB of RAM from Crucial to upgrade from my current 1GB on my MacBook. I'm pretty confident in the procedure shown on the Apple site, but I was looking for some more user-experience advice really.

So my question is; Are there any specific does and don'ts not mentioned on the Apple site (for example static is mention, which prompted me to think of this)?. Thank you for any input.

it's really a simple task, and I think you're putting too much thought into it. But one tip: don't touch the metal conections on the end of the ram.

what site did you order from and how much did you pay! i am looking to the same as i also have the same current macbook. I have to say i love it i use to own a imac and a macbook pro, now i am using a macbook and an iphone as a colleege student i have to say its a great combination.
