Newbie first time poster and first Imac purchase! Looking forward to it arriving.
I ordered my 27 5k imac last weekend with the 3.5 Ghz I5 and upgraded 295 4Gb Gui. However as it hadn't been shipped and in my nievety didn't realize the 2nd Gen was right around the corner, apple informed me they were kind enough to upgrade me to the Gen 2. However I was about to purchase 32Gb crucial ram 1600Mhz from Amazon when after a little bit of research realised that the memory is now running at 1867Mhz.
I see OWC are doing upgrade kits but they're a bit pricier than the $200 I was about to spend for 32Gb.
Can someone advise me on the optimum brand and spec I should go for, I have found Kingston for a decent price but is this compatible
