Hello, just upgraded my macbook pro mid 2010 13" (lion) with 2 sodimm DDR3 corsair mac memory 4gb -> SYSTEM HANGS

Booting in safe mode i can see a problem after

Created virtif XXXXXXXXXXX p2p0

System hangs also if try to boot the recovery HD.
Right now i'm starting a memtest....

Hints?

pull the new ram out and install the stock ram. If it boots up, then you have bad ram.

alos, make sure they are seated properly.

the old RAM is good, system normally boots.
Now I'm doing a memtest in single user mode on each corsair sodimm

Ok problem is my macbook 7,1 13" has 1067mhz stock ram, new ram are 1333 (corsair mac memory 4gb each) and, as i can read googling around, it's an EFI issue related to the video ram (it seems only works at 1067 mhz on THIS macbook!)

Mixing a stock ram with a new ram bank system works perfectly because clock is setted to 1067.

Only solution I found at the moment it's flash the SPD on the new RAM to 1067 with thaiphoon burner (http://softnology.biz/tips_macbookpro_1600.html)
