Hello,
i would like to make a ram upgrade for my mac late 2015 (17,1) intel i7 4 ghz ddr3 1867 mhz.
actually i've 32 gb but asking to owc they confirm that even if apple has tested only up to 32gb, this model can support 64 gb...fantastic, but trying to find the upgrade kit, i only found owc at this link...but the price is absolutely too high

64.0GB OWC Memory Upgrade Kit for 27-Inch 2015 iMac (macsales.com)

so do you have some other manufacturer to suggest for upgrade? even if these ddr3 memories are indicated for this mac, do you think that ddr4 are compatible too?

No, different number of pins.

btw, if your iMac has a Fusion drive (or hard drive), most people get more performance improvement by using an SSD instead - either external (easier) or internal (harder).

that's right, I forgot about that

Data Memory Systems.
Looks like you can get 2 2x16GB kits for about $275 for each kit.
As you have likely noticed, there's a big price jump when you go from 8GB to 16GB sticks
thank you very much for your suggestion....it's a good price and less than owc about for 120$ with international shipping...however considering this old memory, the market price is still to high
