Hey, so i was thinking about upgrading my Macbook Pro's memory to 4gbs, and if i do that i was wondering if anyone could tell me what specific kind of ram i need to install such as the pin number is it 204? or any other specifics that i may need to know?, in addition what brands do you all suggest for my ram upgrade im assuming crucial is pretty well received. In addition to the RAM upgrade i was also considering getting a new hard drive, and i hear the western digital 500 gb scorpio blue seems decent. Any input would be great guys thanks ;)

You need 204 pin PC3 8500 1066MHz DDR3 RAM. As for brands, most will work. Many prefer Crucial, I personally prefer G. Skill. Cheaper than Crucial and uses Hynix DRAM just like OEM SO-DIMMs from Apple.
