I'm sure there are threads about this, but I figured I'd start one instead of looking. But I'm a semi new mac user, I bought my mbp in july and it came with 4gb ram, and what I want to do is upgrade to 8gb ram. I wanted to know if this ram is good http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226015&Tpk=8gb ram for macbook pro I use my mac for music, video, gaming such as SC2 and valve games. And mostly for school stuff. So is this ram good, or do you guys have any suggestions on what I should get, and what kind of noticeable performance would I see? Thanks a lot.:)

It'll work but it's about $20 more expensive than some more trusted brands. Specifically GSKILL and Crucial.
