Hi,
I would like to upgrade my RAM on my 11' MBA. I know it is soldered in to the logic board, but I was wondering if I bought a new logic board with more RAM could I potentially replace it? If so, how could I acquire one? Any site recommendations? Thanks.

Hmm... interesting question. I know iFixit sells Mac parts, but I notice they only list the logic board in the default 4GB mem. configuration. For the prices listed for a new logic board, it looks like you would be better of selling your 4GB machine and just buying a refurb/used machine with 8GB like you want.

changing logic board is too risky. sell your current mba and buy a CTO 2012 mba with 8gb ram
