RAM worries??

i need to upgrade to the crucial 8gb ram kit for mbp 2011 for 13 inch, my issue is that iv seen alot of people saying that the ram wasnt being recognised or wasnt working, im from the uk, has anyone had any issues with their ram? also where can i purchase the screwdriver to open the bottom case?

From memory they are Torx screws. Every Mac owner should have a set

legend but it says i shouldnt need a torx screw set for ram, but the phillips one looks good

I couldn't comment mate as I've not done it before, however my understanding is it just requires whatever screws are on the bottom of your MBP. I'm not sure if the new ones use Torx on the casing anymore, but the Macs I have owned in the past did, so just a guess!

oh ok thanks anyway for the link, anyone tried the ram on the new model yet?
