Can I add 16 gb OWC ram bought from mac sales.com to the iMac 2012 to make it 24 cab?

Which slots should have the 8gb rams and which slots should have the original apple 4 gb rams
 
It doesn't matter. Do you have the 27" or the 22"? The 27" is more user upgradeable. You can't upgrade the RAM in the 21.5" (easily) while the 27" is easier.
