Hey guys, I was wondering if there's really any difference in the PC 100 RAM I'm seeing online. The prices on ramseeker.com vary between $100-$170 for 512 mb dimms. Do I need to spend the extra $50, or will something on the lower end suffice. It's just for my desktop, not a server or anything. Thanks for the help!

in the old days, there was a more noted difference between cheap ram and higher priced ram...the difference does not exist in many or most cases

i have seen the same ram at radically different prices in the same shopping mall

i like viking, crucial, or pny ram and i have never had any problems

You really won't see any difference... just make sure the RAM you buy will work in your type of Mac.
