In an Apartment
Hello

I am about to swap my HDD for a SSD and read that one method of increasing the lifespan of the SSD is to have a ramdisk and (somehow, as I don't know) to move all Internet Caches, temp directory (does a mac have one?) to the ramdisk.

Is this true and is there an app for that?

I have 16GB of ram, so plenty to share about.

In all likelihood, SSDs will far outlast your laptop, so much so I'd not worry about it. Just my $.02.

You don't need to do that, that was more of a precaution in the early days of SSD
