Ok so the other day basically out of no where I was playing songs on my itunes and I noticed that my songs would freeze every so often. I didn't think much of it so I ignored it. About an hour later I decided to just shutdown my computer and then turn it back on. When i did this, my computer just hung on the blue screen. So i went through a bunch of forums and tried out the advices posted. I finally decided to archive and install keeping the user preferences. So I did all of that and can finally see my desktop again! The problem that occurs now is that my system runs really slow, can't open any of my songs, docs, and even some of my apps and utilities refuse to open. I'm nervous because I haven't been able to back my stuff up and I don't want to go to the genius bar to get everything wiped clean. Help????
