my screen turns black for a second maybe 10 times a day.
the system is a 4.1 mac pro with cinema display. It is a second hand I got from my borther who did have the issue after a year or so but didn't care.
I thought the issue was related to the stock gt120 that I planned to replace anyway so I didn't mind as well, but I just installed an asus GTX670 and I still have the issue so I am a bit worried now.
It did with every osx version since snow leopard I got with the mac.
It is not related to the task I am doing, it happens while no application is running as well. Also does it in windows7
The cinema display is not the source of the problem either as it works perfectly fine with my macbook.
I keep the mac pro chassis very clean so there is no dust inside.
any clues or experience to share? thks
