I posted this in the peripherals section, thinking it was a hardware problem
with my mice (Mighty and Magic). But I've since reinstalled iTunes 9.2.1 and
the problem is still there. Here's the background:

A few months ago, I switched from a Mighty Mouse to a Magic Mouse
(thanks to a Father's Day gift from my kids). At first, no problems at all -
except learning how to do all the things you can do with a Magic Mouse. ;^)

Then, a few weeks ago, I started noticing that if I double-clicked to play a
song in iTunes, the genre of the song would change to "(n)" ("n" is a random
integer, so the genre became (3), (8), (11), (21), etc.). This also would
occasionally occur if I lifted and moved the mouse to another part of the
screen. I guess I could understand if it changed from "Rock" to "R&B", but
random numbers?

Thinking I was having a Magic Mouse problem, I switched back to the Mighty
Mouse - but the problem remains. :^( I've turned off BT to see if that is the
source - shouldn't be, since the Mighty Mouse is USB.

Any ideas what might be causing this? I have almost 10,000 songs in iTunes,
so trying to find all these random genre changes is a bit frustrating. Are
there some settings in the Magic Mouse that need to be adjusted? Or is this
a "feature" ;^) in iTunes 9.2.1? I think this was updated around the same
time I switched mice.

Thanks for any pointers . . .
