Firefox 3 is near ready, the extension developers are making their project ready for the final release. I am picking up some of them as well, since I have been with only adblock+ for the entire time when testing firefox 3 several months ago.

Today I would recommending Speed Dial, support firefox 2 as well as 3.0 beta 2.

This feature is first introduced in Opera 9. which is a nice feature, kinda of like multiple homepages on one screen.

As always, firefox's flexibility allow this nice feature to be further improved.

With Speed Dial extension, you can add not only 9 pages as Opera 9 allows, you can add as much as you want to. Also you can put a "open in new tab" icon for each dial, save your middle mice key.

you can even scroll to see the whole page when only part of it is displayed in the preview.

To download, go here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4810

(if you have 3.0 beta 3, you can try change install.rdf in the package, or you can download another extension "fast dial" from here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5721 )

I recommend this as a feature. A friend of mine at school uses Opera on his PC and I noticed that when he opened his browser he would have 6 of these mini-windows and I finally asked him about it. It's really useful to be able to start with multiple pages at once without having a lot of tabs.
