It seems that if i press the touchpad hard enough my macbook thinks i pressed buttons on the keyboard. It happens more often the longer I use it. And I have no idea what the issue is. Its incredibly annoying since I use double touch to right click.

As an example I pressed the touchpad five times. ^

This only happens if I press it hard enough or if I hold the computer in my hands and somehow press down the palm rest. Like when you pick up the macbook.

Any ideas on what it can be? I've disassembled and reassembled it. No change.

Have you tried removing the battery, and using your charger's battery power to turn on the computer to see if that resolves the issue? I ordered a replacement battery off of Amazon, and it didn't fit the casing of my 2008 Macbook correctly.. Sometimes it would hold down the mouse, other little issues like that, but when I removed the battery it seemed the issue was fixed.
