Random log outs...

I have a MacBook Air (Early 2014). And ever since I've downloaded macOS Sierra, I've been experiencing random log outs. I think it's usually when YouTube or some other video plat form is open. I noticed that the screen flickers, and then I'm logged out. Furthermore, I can't open a certain app after I'm randomly logged out (specifically it's my VPN, Private Internet Access). I have to restart the computer to get the app to start. Also, there's no message that pops up as to why I was logged out.

Any ideas what's going on here? Or anyone experience something similar?
